Privacy notice
Lincolnshire Drone Repairs is the data controller for information collected through this website and the repair process. You can contact us at anthony@lincolnshiredronerepairs.co.uk, call 07939 139 069 or write to Unit 8 Blackwood Court, Lincoln, LN6 3AE.
We collect the contact details you provide, delivery address where needed, organisation, aircraft and accessory details, serial numbers, fault information, booking choices, repair decisions, service results and essential security logs. Do not give us information that is not needed for the repair.
Why we use it
- To answer an enquiry and take steps you request before a repair contract.
- To create, diagnose, quote, complete, return and support a repair or service.
- To keep the account lookup and owner administration secure.
- To meet accounting, product-safety, legal and insurance obligations.
- To send marketing only when you choose the separate optional box.
Contract and pre-contract steps are the main lawful bases for repair handling. Legitimate interests support proportionate fraud prevention, service security and business administration. Legal obligation applies where records must be kept by law. Consent is used for optional marketing and can be withdrawn at any time.
Who receives it
Information is shared only where necessary with providers supporting website hosting, email, payments, carriage, accounting, secure file storage or an agreed manufacturer repair route. They receive only the information needed for their task and must handle it under appropriate terms. We do not sell customer data.
Repair, service and fleet forms create a protected workshop record and queue a transactional notification for anthony@lincolnshiredronerepairs.co.uk. Once our contracted email-delivery service accepts it, the notification contains the customer, aircraft and fault details needed to respond. A failed delivery remains recorded for workshop follow-up. Payment-card details are never requested in an enquiry email or stored in the repair case.
Before equipment is sent through a manufacturer route, we explain who will receive the case, which customer, equipment, serial, fault and carriage details are needed, and any additional price. Manufacturer access credentials, unnecessary files and unrelated customer information are not shared.
Your rights and complaints
Ask anthony@lincolnshiredronerepairs.co.uk for access, correction, deletion where applicable, restriction, objection or portability. We may need to verify identity before disclosing case data. Data-protection complaints are acknowledged within 30 days and investigated without undue delay. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Uploaded and service data
Provide only information needed to diagnose the equipment. Remove memory cards and sensitive files before handover. Do not upload mission data, credentials or classified material through the public portal. Published service results are limited to a customer-facing status, outcome, notes, advisories and certificates; workshop-only notes remain separate.
If you provide a repair photograph or video, you confirm that you created it, own the necessary rights or have authority to supply it, and that it does not knowingly contain unlawful, confidential, classified or operationally sensitive material. Avoid people, children, address labels, documents, screens, flight locations and anything not needed for the repair.
You keep ownership of customer-supplied media. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, copy, resize, scan, redact and share it only as reasonably needed to assess, quote, administer, repair, evidence or resolve your case, including with an agreed manufacturer or repair partner. We do not publish customer repair media or use it in advertising without separate optional permission.
Cookies and local storage
No advertising or audience-measurement tracker is active in this version of the site. Essential security cookies may be used for a case-scoped portal session. Local storage remembers display preference and dismissal of the cookie notice. If non-essential analytics or marketing technology is added later, it must remain blocked until valid consent and this notice must be updated.
Free website tools: terms and safety notice
The Drone Triage Zone, site-wide guided triage assistant, Battery Check, Service Planner, Record Time calculator and Flight Logger provide general guidance and indicative calculations only. The Drone Resource Centre is a checked directory of internal and third-party links. None of the tools can physically inspect equipment, confirm a fault, certify airworthiness or replace current manufacturer instructions, legal requirements or safety notices. Stop using the aircraft or battery if it is damaged, wet, unusually hot, swollen, unstable or otherwise appears unsafe.
Opening an aircraft, fitting non-approved parts or attempting internal repairs may affect a voluntary manufacturer warranty, care plan or manufacturer-service eligibility. It does not automatically remove statutory consumer rights. Nothing in these tool terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The tools are free to use on this website for personal and business operations. Original software, text, graphics and compiled diagnostic content are protected by applicable copyright and database rights. No licence is granted to reproduce, republish, resell, embed or extract substantial parts for reuse. Lawful linking, quotation, independent facts and statutory exceptions are unaffected.
Triage answers remain in the browser while the tool is used. If a customer chooses to create a repair case, a short editable summary is transferred within the same website to the booking form. The booking privacy notice then applies.
Diagnosis, quotes and carriage
Diagnosis is free and no chargeable repair begins without approval. A quote explains scope, price and relevant terms. If you decline repair, outbound return carriage is charged using the published delivery table or a confirmed alternative-carrier quote. The booking interface requests an inbound route; it is not a paid courier checkout. Lithium batteries require prior carriage approval and damaged or unsafe batteries must not be posted.
Service base prices and extra work
The LDR Basic Bench Check has a base price of £49 per aircraft. The LDR Service & Certificate has a base price of £99 per aircraft. The selected check, its limits and any model-specific restriction are confirmed with the booking.
Parts, repair labour, delivery and manufacturer charges are not included in those base prices. If a service identifies further work, we provide the scope and price and wait for approval. An LDR service certificate records the checks completed and findings at the time of inspection; it is not an official manufacturer maintenance report or a regulatory certificate of airworthiness.
Managed manufacturer maintenance
Where an eligible DJI Enterprise aircraft is better served by DJI's Maintenance Program, we can coordinate the application, dispatch, progress, additional quotation and return once the customer approves the route. DJI or its designated service centre performs the manufacturer work, decides eligibility and scope, and supplies the official maintenance report. Lincolnshire Drone Repairs is an independent provider and does not claim to be a DJI-authorised service centre, dealer or representative.
Skydio states that maintenance and repairs must be performed by Skydio-authorised technicians or field teams unless approved in writing. LDR may document the reported condition, organise fleet records and coordinate Skydio Care where eligible, warranty or support, but will not perform repair, maintenance or disassembly without the required Skydio authority. Skydio determines eligibility, coverage and outcome.
Donor-aircraft fleet recovery
A donor-component route is considered only where the customer owns or has authority over the donor equipment and approves the proposed transfer. Compatibility, visible condition, provenance and receiving-asset identity are recorded. Unsafe batteries, incompatible modules and unverified safety-critical structural parts are excluded. A functional workshop outcome is not a regulatory certificate of airworthiness, and the operator remains responsible for legal operation and return-to-flight decisions.
Training introductions
LDR may introduce a customer to an independent training provider and coordinate timing around fleet mobilisation or equipment return. Training, assessment, qualifications, pricing and contractual responsibility sit with that provider. Any material referral relationship will be disclosed before the customer commits.
Defence and sensitive equipment
Do not submit classified, OFFICIAL-SENSITIVE, mission, location, credential, cryptographic, export-controlled or operational information through the public form or ordinary email. Contact the team with only the non-sensitive platform class and general requirement so ownership, authority, handling, transport, export-control and reporting boundaries can be agreed before equipment or data moves.
Images, copyright and trade marks
Images, illustrations, video, 3D models and other media are published only where Lincolnshire Drone Repairs owns them, commissioned them, has rightsholder permission, holds an applicable licence or has another recorded lawful basis. Copyright and other intellectual property rights remain with their respective owners, and credits are provided where required. Finding an image on a website, social network or search engine does not by itself grant permission to copy it.
The website copyright notice applies only to material owned by Lincolnshire Drone Repairs. It does not claim ownership of third-party product photographs, names, logos or trade marks. Manufacturer and model names are used only as reasonably necessary to identify equipment we inspect, repair or service. This descriptive use does not imply affiliation, authorisation, approval, sponsorship or endorsement. Separate manufacturer logos are displayed only where permission or applicable brand terms allow.
We maintain an internal asset-rights record covering source, rightsholder, permission or licence, permitted commercial use, attribution and review status. Material without a supportable rights record must be removed or replaced before public use.
Product-image identity and image permission are separate checks. A manufacturer page may help us verify that a photograph shows the exact aircraft, but it does not grant a licence to republish that photograph. Where an exact image and its rights record have not both been verified, the model directory uses a neutral labelled placeholder rather than a photograph of another drone.
External links
External links are selected because they help a reader reach a relevant official, technical or safety source. A normal editorial link does not imply endorsement, partnership or responsibility for the linked service, and it does not guarantee that another website will link back to us. Paid or sponsored links, if introduced, must be labelled and marked appropriately.
Image and IP complaints
If you believe an image or trade mark is used without authority, email anthony@lincolnshiredronerepairs.co.uk with the subject “Image/IP complaint”. Include the exact page URL, the material concerned, the right you own or represent, supporting evidence and the action requested. We will investigate credible reports promptly and may restrict the material while reviewing it. We will remove, replace, credit or restore it as the evidence requires. Temporary restriction or removal is not an admission of liability.
Retention and security
Unconverted enquiries are normally reviewed for deletion after 12 months. Repair, warranty and accounting records are normally kept for up to seven years where needed for contractual, tax, insurance or legal purposes. Optional marketing details are removed when consent is withdrawn or after prolonged inactivity. A legal hold, active dispute or contract may require a longer period.
Account access codes are stored as one-way hashes rather than readable passwords. Owner administration requires verified sign-in plus a server-side owner allowlist. Customer-facing updates stay separate from internal workshop notes, private pages are not cached, and access attempts are logged. Keep your case code private and report a suspected privacy or security incident promptly to anthony@lincolnshiredronerepairs.co.uk.
Accessibility
The site supports keyboard navigation, clear focus states, reduced motion, responsive text and light or dark display. If any content or portal step is difficult to use, call 07939 139 069 or email us and we will provide an alternative.
Policy summary version: 31 July 2026. The legal operator/data-controller details, consumer terms and every third-party image rights record must be verified before public launch.
